Product Lifecycle Management Expert
We are seeking an experienced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expert to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert in the areas of infrastructure related to manufacturing information systems.
The PLM Engineer III will identify methods and architect solutions to provide a high level of service to end-users of the application(s). This role will help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot a rapidly expanding application system and its infrastructure.
You will work closely with other engineers, analysts, and leadership to obtain regular feedback on design and execution. Additionally, you will provide periodic operational support and maintenance of the manufacturing systems.
This position requires hands-on experience with ARAS (PLM tool) and SolidWorks (CAD system), as well as minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in a factory or enterprise setting.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain and present technical information effectively.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting, upgrades, installation, and documentation of infrastructure related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
* Administration of new and existing technologies, including design, documentation, install, configuration, maintenance, integration, and testing related systems
* Leading collaboratively with business customers on hardware, middleware, and application requirements
* Leading with vendors, engineers, analysts, and leadership to ensure the integrity of databases, application software, and data
* Performing regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity, health, and availability of all systems and key processes, reviewing application and system logs, and ensuring completion of scheduled jobs
* Leading problem-solving efforts regarding system and service matters and if necessary, facilitating support with outside personnel, organizations, and/or vendors
* Monitoring tech-industry trends, bringing new ideas, and innovative solutions
* Developing new deliverables as needed based on operational requirements and following best practices for documentation and delivery
* Analyzing data to drive decision making and recommendations
* Configuring and deploying devices and peripherals as necessary
* Resolving issues, problems, and questions on-site assigned from a ticketing system
