 
        
        Lead Data Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Architecture Leader to design, develop and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade data integration and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle performance tuning and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), combined with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
 * Data Optimization: Optimize query and database performance to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
 * Execution Plan Analysis: Analyze execution plans and recommend indexing, partitioning and optimization strategies.
 * Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with Database Administrators (DBAs) to validate and implement tuning recommendations.
 * ETL/ELT Workflows: Oversee ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring scalability, efficiency and data quality.
 * CLOUD SERVICES: Leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, DMS) for ingestion, transformation and storage.
 * Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor the team, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
 * Tech Decision Communication: Translate technical decisions into clear explanations for both technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 * 7+ Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience in data engineering within enterprise-scale environments.
 * Oracle Expertise: Expertise in Oracle performance tuning, including query optimization, execution plans, indexes, partitioning and parallelism.
 * SQL Query Writing: Hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
 * ODI Expertise: Expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
 * Data Warehouse Design: Experience in data warehouse design, ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
 * Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, including team mentoring and technical guidance.
 * Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with DBAs, technical teams and business stakeholders.
 * Languages: Fluent in English.
