A Snapshot of Your Day
Technical Support in mechanical systems or equipment (BoP for SE customers, remote and local modes) focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. Support internal teams in preparing proposals for sales, commissioning, modernization, and expansion services for industrial or power generation plants.
How You'll Make An Impact
* Provide experienced technical support for mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
* Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Collaborate with operators and engineers to ensure safe and efficient mechanical system operations, and develop maintenance strategies.
* Assist with system upgrades, provide training for plant personnel, and stay updated on industry trends and methodologies.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Power Engineering; advanced degrees/certifications in mechanical maintenance are a plus.
* Experience in mechanical maintenance or assembly within thermal power plants, focusing on technical support and troubleshooting.
* Solid understanding of mechanical system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, willingness to travel (50%-60%) for plant visits and training in Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM; strong soft skills in customer satisfaction and working in multicultural environments.

In this role, you will be part of a regional team supporting SE customers across LATAM, utilizing both traditional and innovative technologies to optimize power generation processes. Your work will be vital in ensuring reliable and efficient thermal power plant operations, while developing as a technical expert and providing local and remote support to internal and external clients.
