FCamara is seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer to join our client's Electronic Equities team within the Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division. This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge ultra-low latency algorithmic trading platform used across global financial markets.
Professionals based in Portugal and Brazil are encouraged to apply. Relocation to Portugal is mandatory for this role and will be fully supported by FCamara as part of our mobility package.
About the Role
As a C++ Developer, you will:
* Design and develop high-performance components for our eTrading platform;
* Collaborate with global teams across London, New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo;
* Work on greenfield projects involving algorithmic models, market data distribution, and exchange connectivity;
* Leverage the latest C++ standards (C++17/20/23) and advanced system-level programming techniques.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong hands-on experience with modern C++ (14/17/20/23);
* Deep understanding of multi-threading, data structures, and algorithm complexity;
* Proficiencyin Linux, gcc, gdb, Boost, and STL;
* Experience with OO design and working in globally distributed teams;
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
* Expertise in performance-tuned networking, memory management, and Unix scripting (bash, Python);
* Familiarity with FIX protocol or other financial protocols;
* Knowledge of Java or C# is a plus.
