Positions in this sub-family are responsible for developing, managing and delivering support services to the organization's sales force. Activities include: - Processing orders from customers and resolving complaints - Advising customers on product shortages, expected delivery dates, price changes, etc. - Providing data and reports, generating analytical study from available sales database and consolidating information to help the sales team - Acting as liaison between customers, production and distribution and sales teams - Selecting, managing and training on sales related systems and databases - Assisting sales teams with individual account and sales territory planning - Performing administrative duties and ensuring the smooth operational flow between business, cutomers and vendors ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT - Has accountability for ongoing activities, may lead processes or project steps within a broader project - As an individual contributor acts as an established and productive professional working independently with limited supervision - As a people manager acts as a Team Leader or Supervisor of support / para-professional level employees with limited people management responsibilities setting day-to-day operational objectives for the team - Problems faced are difficult, typically not complex and may require a new perspective on existing solutions INNOVATION & COMPLEXITY - Responsible for checking and correcting problems not immediately evident in existing systems and processes / making adjustments or recommended enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area - Problems are solved thorough interpretation of procedures or policies COMMUNICATION & INFLUENCE - Explains policies, practices and procedures of the job area to others within the organization - Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve explaining or interpreting information in order to reach agreement - May work to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies and procedures KNOWLEDGE - Typically requires a University Degree (Bachelor) or equivalent experience - Typically requires at least 4 years of prior relevant experience - Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines Skills Data Analysis; Customer Sales; Waterfall Model
