Business Systems Analyst - Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to play a critical role in driving business success through the effective use of technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to utilize their analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver business value.
Main Responsibilities:
* Requirements Analysis and Specification: Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications for development teams.
* Solution Design and Testing: Collaborate with developers and system architects to design solutions that meet business needs. Develop and execute test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Stakeholder Management and Leadership: Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Lead and coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
* Risk Management and Budgeting: Identify and mitigate risks in technology projects. Assist in managing project budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
Essential Requirements (Hard Skills):
* Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a business or functional analyst in an IT environment.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
* Languages: Advanced English and/or French.
* Tools and Abilities: Proficiency in business analytics tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio. Experience with project management software such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, and Asana.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Differentials (Nice to Have):
* Education: Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
* Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMP (Project Management Professional), or Certified ScrumMaster.
* Knowledge: Experience in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing. Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
