Mandatory Qualifications
• Overall 13+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years of architecture experience in designing, executing, and supporting cloud solutions on GCP. • A Google Cloud Professional Certified qualification is required. • Experience with provisioning GCP resources via Terraform is essential. • Strong expertise in GCP services, such as Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Google Cloud Load Balancing, Storage, Security, Monitoring, etc. • Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACLs, cloud IaaS components on GCP. • Solid foundation in programming languages like Java, SQL, Python or Node.js. • Expertise with containerization, orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization, Routes/Firewalls, IAM, Policy).
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and be able to design and implement secure, scalable, and efficient systems on GCP. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate complex technical ideas effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud-based solutions on GCP using Terraform Provision and manage GCP resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking Configure and maintain GCP services, such as Cloud Services Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine Develop and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines Implement security measures to protect GCP resources, including IAM, Key Management, and Access Controls
