A Registered Nurse plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive healthcare experience.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, administering medications and vaccines, wound care, and assisting with procedures within the physician office setting. Your key responsibilities will include:

 * Facilitating coordination of care across settings to ensure that labs, studies, and referrals are completed and results discussed with the patient.
 * Performing patient care and procedures using sound clinical judgment and approved policies/procedures/protocols/techniques, equipment, and supplies.
 * Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment, as well as maintaining supplies.
 * Assessing patient readiness to learn and ensuring education materials are current and appropriate; evaluating the effectiveness of patient education.
 * Intervening to prevent, minimize, or correct actual or potential patient risks based on observation of physiological, behavioral, and environmental factors.
 * Complying with monitoring and documentation of daily activities and expenditures as per standards set forth by accrediting bodies.
 * Acting as a resource for patients and family members, listening effectively, and giving and receiving constructive feedback.
 * Participating in clinical meetings and other multi-disciplinary quality service improvement initiatives.
 * Triage calls to the appropriate level of care and providing healthcare advice/education using assessment skills, approved guidelines, and protocols, as well as knowledge of self-care practices.
