Android Software Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join a global technology team in a fully remote capacity. This opportunity is open to professionals based in Brazil with fluent English and at least 5 years of experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.
About the Position
* Design, develop, and prototype high-quality Android apps (internal and external)
* Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features
* Oversight of the entire app lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, deployment, and release
* Contributions to architecture decisions and continuous improvement of development practices
* Mentoring fellow engineers and defining coding standards and workflows
* Staying up-to-date with the latest Android platform features and trends
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin (Java is a plus)
* Proven experience shipping at least one high-quality Android app with a team
* Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Android ecosystem constraints
* Experience building scalable, reliable, and responsive mobile applications
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
