Job Posting: Podcast Audio Editor
We are seeking a skilled Podcast Audio Editor to join our team. This role is responsible for refining podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, and adding music.
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished episodes
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates when required
* Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully
* Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline
* Produce 3–4 short clips per episode for marketing use
* Support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested
Key Requirements:
* Strong audio editing skills and knowledge of sound design principles
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools)
* Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
