We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in editing high-volume, high-converting video ads for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
The successful applicant will be responsible for transforming raw footage, user-generated content (UGC) clips, and b-roll into persuasive short-form ads that drive sales across various platforms.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of direct response mechanics, including crafting hooks that stop thumbs in the first 3 seconds, deploying engagement disruptors, optimizing pacing for platform algorithms, and A/B testing visual approaches based on performance data.
You will also be expected to work closely with our Creative Strategist to test new concepts weekly, iterate quickly, and pivot based on real-time campaign data.
In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to think critically, recommend new approaches, ad formats, and tools, and have a deep understanding of Meta/YouTube Shorts specs and algorithm-friendly editing patterns.
We value efficiency and smart automation, so experience with AI-enhanced workflows and tools like Descript, Runway, and AI caption generators is highly desirable.
