Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI developer to fill a key position in our business intelligence team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying Power BI solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX, as well as a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Data Modeling and Reporting: Develop and publish Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to our business stakeholders.
* Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
* Data Transformation and DAX Scripting: Perform data modeling, data transformation, and DAX scripting for complex calculations.
* Data Security and Governance: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization of Power BI solutions, while maintaining data security, governance, and compliance.
* Technical Support: Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to business users.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Experience: Proven experience as a Power BI Developer (3+ years preferred).
* Skills: Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX; solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases; proficiency in SQL and querying large datasets.
* Additional Skills: Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources (Excel, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.); strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
