Duties: - Oversee the company’s human resources team - Works with leadership to develop and implement HR policies and programs as necessary - Provides HR advice to managers as needed - Assists accounting with payroll as needed - Maintains company’s organizational chart - Develop, direct, and coordinate employee performance reviews - Maintain employee records - Administer employee benefits, including health benefits and 401k benefits - Recruit, interview, select and onboard new hires alongside HR team - Manage field manpower with project managers - Resolve grievances, handle disciplinary action, and foster a positive and safe workplace culture Skills & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field (preferred) - Proven experience in an HR Manager or similar role - Understanding of the key principles of employment and labor law - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization - Superior organizational and planning skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Requirements: - Ability to work independently and with a team - Effectively communicate with any size group; verbally or written - Proficient in computer software’s - MS Suite, Excel, time keeping software, and Egan specific tracking systems - Good work ethic, which should include the desire to learn and efforts in continuous improvements - Organizational skills - Good follow-through - Accurate record keeping - High initiative and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism - Ability to work independently and with a team Schedule: - Full-Time - 40 hours/week Location: - Ability to commute - Walker, MI - Corporate Office
