Job Description
This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, specifically in the Calypso system.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial products, trade flow, and trading systems, as well as experience in developing and implementing BO/Accounting/Finance related solutions within Calypso.
They will also possess excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
In addition, the successful candidate will have proven experience in delivering accounting and finance related solutions within Calypso, with a strong track record of adherence to governance frameworks and implementation handovers to BAU.
Key responsibilities will include establishing a comprehensive approach to defining and setting up greenfield Calypso instances, developing necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements, and managing deliverables to ensure transparency of risks, issues, and dependencies.
The role may also involve acting as a business analyst to help the team gather and write requirements and acceptance criteria.
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles
* Deep Knowledge of Financial products cross assets
* Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions (settings) within Calypso
* Experience of adherence to governance frameworks / implementation and handover to BAU
* Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management
* Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner
* Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
* Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
* Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment
* Spanish speak/write (MUST)
