Head of Renewable Energy
The Head of Renewable Energy oversees the development and implementation of strategies to drive growth in renewable energy projects.
This role is responsible for leading a team of professionals in sourcing, evaluating, and executing deals for renewable energy projects, as well as managing investor relations and ensuring operational compliance and performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, with experience in investment strategy, financial analysis, and stakeholder relationships. They will also be familiar with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations and policy changes in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute investment strategies for renewable energy projects
* Lead a team of professionals in sourcing, evaluating, and executing deals for renewable energy projects
* Manage investor relations and ensure operational compliance and performance
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ESG considerations and policy changes in the renewable energy sector
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
* 8+ years of relevant experience from a Bank or an Asset Management Firm
* Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
* Demonstrable experience in renewable project development, investment banking, capital markets, private equity in international and domestic markets
