Defines and implements standards in quality planning, testing, processes and KPIs in order to fulfill project, company or other quality requirements. Responsible for definition, execution, improvement and reporting of Quality Gates in projects. Defines, tracks, reports and improves test content and measurement standards as part of shared responsibility. Performs postmortem analyses and defines, assigns, tracks and reports preventive measures and actions. Collaborates with other parts of the Quality organization to deliver holistic and end-to-end quality analyses and reports. Measures, tracks and reports risks and issues from a quality perspective and leads quality improvement projects, programs and initiatives. Assists and supports the organization in implementing and managing management systems to ensure compliance with international standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 20000), supports the organization in developing and improving business processes, increases awareness within the organization on management system relevant topics, creates management systems relevant training materials and performs trainings accordingly, plans and performs internal audits to verify compliance with international standards. Defines and manages internal processes, support the organization in the application of these processes and verifies the compliance through internal audits.
Responsibilities
* Works with operational / functional leaders to ensure understanding of and focus on quality systems and established quality KPIs.
* Supports development and implementation of standards related to quality planning, testing and other processes.
* Contributes to the structuring and implementation of project specific quality gates and associated activity, including: Inspecting partial / final outputs, Comparing output properties with DN quality governance and standards requirements.
* Assists with project postmortem analyses and the defining, assigning, tracking and measuring of preventive measures and actions.
* Additional Process Quality Management Responsibilities: Works with assigned teams / business leaders to understand business processes and associated quality standards and implications.
* Supports quality related process improvement efforts.
* Supports development and application of quality certification systems and processes.
* Facilitates ISO and related evaluations and audits, and supports efforts to improve audit / testing, tracking and reporting.
* Contributes to quality systems related training development and implementation.
* Performs audits on internal processes.
* Performs trainings on internal processes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical in Mechanics.
* Experience in the quality area in companies dealing with mechanical parts.
* Basic knowledge in supplier auditing, quality tools.
* Intermediate or advanced English
* Advanced Excel, with macros
* Reside in Manaus
