Hi… my name is Lena, and I am the founder of Go! Running Tours.
This is not your usual job post. Instead of the typical fast‑paced, bullet‑pointed copy, I’m sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly about being a Growth Marketer at Go! Running Tours.
Our new Growth Marketer will be responsible for all marketing activities for B2C and B2B clients. Our markets are growing (some by 100%+) and we’re constantly looking for new channels and markets to sell our services.
Your marketing DNA has to be analytical, structured, and creative, able to craft compelling copy, spot opportunities, and connect the dots between B2C and B2B.
I’m looking for a colleague who works systematically with new ideas and markets, has attention to detail, and is super excited about the responsibility you’ll be given and the world’s marketing playground.
You’ll be working on a newsletter, email flows, and smart automations. Email marketing is a strong channel for us, and if you thrive on optimizing flows, building automations, and digging into data, this is your playground. We already send newsletters that do well, but we need a data‑driven, automation‑mindset marketer to take the performance to the next level.
You’ll also own our digital advertising efforts – planning and running campaigns on Meta and Google, exploring new platforms, and focusing on what moves the needle. We test, learn, and scale what works.
In addition, you’ll create case studies, explore sponsorship opportunities, and pitch bold ideas to reach new runners, companies, and destinations.
You will work directly with me. We work remotely and have only 2–3 hours of internal meetings per week; the rest of your time is for deep work.
The salary reflects reduced working hours and is not meant to secure a Ferrari. It’s aimed to provide comfort while you pursue what you love – running, bridging cultures, and being part of a fast‑moving, positive company.

We value balance: we don’t want colleagues working 60+ hours a week. The most important traits for this role are being a fast mover, a strong collaborator, and having a drive to grow the business and yourself.
Most important skill of all is execution – if we don’t execute, we can’t move the needle.
