1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Summary of Position and ObjectivesThe Release Manager role will be responsible for deploying builds across the environment, onboarding new environments, handling transversal projects, and creating release management related documents and sharing release plans with stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Manage risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.Facilitate release activities ensuring quality and timely deployments across environments.Maintain release schedules for all core services and ensure alignment with key partners and vendors.Coordinate release content based on service request backlog, third-party applications, or OS updates.Communicate project plans, commitments, and changes including QA plans and scope changes.Conduct Release Readiness, Milestone, and Business Go/No-Go reviews with stakeholders.Produce Deployment, Run Books, and Implementation Plans.Participate in CAB meetings to present RFCs.Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities, including deployment plans and checklists.Provide weekly release reports with Program Release Manager.Own and improve the release process, documenting issues and developing improvements, including automation.Interact effectively across hierarchical levels for smooth project execution and manage complex projects.Qualifications and Experience:English proficiency required for global collaboration.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of cloud deployment, preferably Azure, and Agile practices.Experience with deployment tools like Octopus, MS Project, Excel-Macros.Experience of 4-5 years in release and deployment management.Strong leadership, troubleshooting, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.Technical Stack:Platforms: Windows, Linux.Database: MSSQL.Ticketing Tools: ServiceNow.Cloud Environment: MS Azure.CI/CD Tools: Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps.Monitoring: Grafana.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, hybrid work model.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionInformation TechnologyIndustriesHuman Resources ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Netvagas by 2x.
