Opportunity – Data Engineer (Senior) | Brazil | RemoteHi everyone,We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global project supporting a leading multinational company.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy, building scalable data solutions that support decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives.What you will be doing:- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models- Work across data lake environments, Snowflake, and Hive-based architectures- Support analytics, reporting, and business performance monitoring- Collaborate closely with data, analytics, and business stakeholders- Enable data infrastructure for machine learning and AI initiatives- Contribute to the development of data products and applications (including Streamlit and chatbot-based solutions)- Help evolve the data and ML ecosystem, supporting scalability and innovationWhat we are looking for:- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platforms- Strong experience with SQL and Python- Hands-on experience with Spark / PySpark- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines- Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)- Experience with AWS and cloud-based data platforms- Experience with Snowflake (or similar data warehouse solutions)- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and governance- Experience with Git / version control- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Fluent English (mandatory)Nice to have:- Experience with data lake / hybrid data environments- Experience supporting ML pipelines or AI initiatives- Exposure to Streamlit, data apps, or chatbots- Experience in global / cross-functional environmentsDetails:- Location: Brazil (Remote)- Type: Contract- Work setup: Home-based
