How you’ll make an impact in this role
* Join an established team of 2 APPs
* Call structure: 1 week per month, Monday through Sunday
* Practice setting: Outpatient Primary Care office
* Access to 8 total exam rooms (2 dedicated rooms per provider) utilizing the Athena EMR system
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Practitioner
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Enhance patient access across a rural community, providing exceptional care to a primarily farming-based population
* Drive clinical excellence by performing daily comprehensive chart prep, managing an expected volume of 15 to 20 office patients, and efficiently evaluating lab and imaging results

* Focus: Everyday healthcare, preventive screenings, and management of chronic conditions.
* Services: Routine physicals (including sports physicals), preventive health exams, vaccinations (such as flu shots), and lab testing.
* Serving the local city population of Brazil, Indiana, which is approximately 8,350, as well as the surrounding community of Clay County, which has a total population of approximately 26,400

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
* Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
* Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
Master's degree of Nursing required.
