Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team in sourcing, nurturing, and closing deals for renewable projects, executing capital investments, and managing investor relations. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing investment strategies to identify, evaluate, and acquire renewable energy projects in targeted global markets.
* Conducting comprehensive financial analysis and rigorous due diligence to assess the viability, risks, and returns of potential investments.
* Leading negotiations and executing complex financing and transactions for renewable energy projects.
* Monitoring the performance of renewable energy assets, optimizing portfolio performance, and identifying opportunities for growth and diversification.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree (MBA, CFA, CAIA) is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience from a financial institution or asset management firm is required. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential.
