Overview
Teceze is seeking a dedicated and proactive On-Site IT Support Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support for our client's local infrastructure, end-users, and critical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, continuity of services, and timely resolution of incidents during the designated support period. This role acts as the primary point of contact for all on-site IT issues while also performing preventive maintenance and ensuring system stability.
Responsibilities
* Provide on-site support for resolving technical incidents related to infrastructure, systems, and end-user devices.
* Perform monitoring and maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability.
* Deliver desktop and user support for local staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Conduct preventive maintenance activities such as security checks, system health checks, and patch updates.
* Coordinate critical service requests with remote teams and external vendors as needed.
* Escalate complex incidents to higher-level support teams and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Desktop Engineering roles.
* Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking fundamentals, hardware, and peripherals.
* Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and incident management processes.
* Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic security checks.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
* Professional certifications such as Comp TIA A+, Network+, ITIL, Microsoft, or CCNA are a plus.
