Production Excellence Lead
This role is situated within a high-volume production environment where quality and speed coexist seamlessly. As Production Excellence Lead, you will oversee a team of designers responsible for crafting engaging websites, logos, and visual assets for local service businesses.
Key responsibilities include daily inspections to catch minute details that can impact credibility, providing guidance to your team members, and ensuring that 'good enough' does not meet the standards. You will also be equipped to handle tasks personally when necessary.
* Oversee a team of designers who assemble websites from content, images, and structured data.
* Conduct daily quality checks to identify areas that require improvement.
* Identify and address subpar logos, amateurish image crops, and layouts that obscure calls-to-action.
* Develop the design team's aesthetic sensibilities through in-depth critiques.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in visual design with a portfolio demonstrating refined taste.
* Leadership or management experience with a design team lasting at least 2 years.
* Hands-on execution skills: create, refine logos, fix layouts, and enhance visual hierarchy as needed.
* Production expertise: proven track record working in fast-paced environments where volume was a critical factor.
