Role Summary
The Professional Services Developer is a hybrid technical-consultant responsible for the successful implementation and customization of the Magentrix platform. Unlike traditional product development, this role focuses on translating unique client business requirements into robust, secure, and scalable technical solutions. You are not just writing code; you are a trusted advisor helping customers maximize the value of the platform through expert configuration, custom development, and seamless integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Implementation & Solution Architecture
* Expert Implementation: Lead the technical delivery of the Magentrix platform, ensuring it is configured and customized to meet specific client business processes.
* Consultative Development: Act as a bridge between technical possibilities and business needs, helping customers \"bridge the gap\" through tailored code and configurations.
* Customization & Extension: Build elegant, secure web-based business solutions using Magentrix APIs, ensuring all extensions are maintainable and high-performing.
* Integration Excellence: Design and implement secure API integrations between Magentrix and third-party systems (CRMs, ERPs, etc.), ensuring data integrity and security.
Client Engagement & Collaboration
* Requirement Gathering: Participate in discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and translate them into technical specifications.
* Fast-Paced Delivery: Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, balancing speed of delivery with the high-quality standards expected in Professional Services.
* Quality Assurance: Perform unit tests and participate in code reviews with a focus on both security vulnerabilities and user experience (UX).
* Incident Management: Promptly troubleshoot and resolve client-reported issues, providing clear communication on root causes and resolutions.
Security & Compliance
* Follow secure coding best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Ensure all client-specific customizations comply with organizational security policies.
* Collaborate with security teams to address potential risks and implement mitigation controls.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Proficiency
* Full-Stack Development: Proficient with JavaScript, Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and the Tailwind framework.
* Backend Mastery: Strong experience with C#.NET, MVC, SQL databases, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
* Architectural Knowledge: Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and RDBMS databases.
Professional & Consultative Skills
* 7+ Years Experience: Minimum 7+ years in software development, with a preference for client-facing or agency environments.
* Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to look at a product and determine the most efficient way to customize it without compromising future upgrades.
* Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Agile Adaptability: Experience working in Agile environments where requirements may shift based on client feedback.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
