The successful candidate will have a proven track record in scholarly publishing and organizing top-tier research initiatives. Their expertise should enable them to curate a collection of high-quality articles related to their field, fostering collaboration and coordination with authors and potential co-editors throughout the editorial process.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing a comprehensive proposal outlining the special issue's significance, detailing prospective contributors, and presenting a compelling vision for its success.
* Collaborating with fellow editors to ensure seamless organization and coordination of the special issue, promoting effective communication and smooth decision-making among team members.
* Identifying and engaging contributors from diverse regions, prioritizing those with a demonstrated publication record and strong academic reputation.
* Promoting the special issue to enhance its visibility and impact through targeted strategies and platforms.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Holding a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Possessing a valid Scopus ID and prior experience in publishing guest-edited thematic issues in peer-reviewed journals.
• Having an established network of scholarly authors who can contribute research/review articles to the thematic issue(s).
• Exhibiting exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with scientific publication and peer review processes.
