This is a remote position with a strong emphasis on collaboration, independence, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in PHP development, with a strong command of PHP 7.2 and hands-on work using Symfony 5.x.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend applications using Symfony and other relevant technologies.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, ensuring timely delivery of projects.

* Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues and implement best practices.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes to existing tools and platforms.

Requirements:

* At least 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.

* Strong command of PHP 7.2 and hands-on work using Symfony 5.x.

* Experience working with microservices architecture, MySQL, and Redis.

* Familiarity with automated testing using PHPUnit and Mockery.

* Experience with Docker and Ci/Cd practices.

* Proficient in cloud-based infrastructure and deployments using AWS (and ideally some GCP exposure).

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
