Patent Paralegal Project Manager Opportunity

As a Patent Paralegal Project Manager, you will oversee and manage patent filing requests, working closely with clients, translators, and internal teams. Your role involves coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
This is a full-time remote position. Working hours will be in Pacific Standard Time (United States time zone). You must be able to commit to working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm PST.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required for this role as you will work with English-speaking teammates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing all documents required in connection with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Initiating responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitoring all assigned cases and ensuring that all related deadlines are met.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities.
* Significant experience managing complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and Machine Translation engines.
* The ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skills in training users on workflows.
* Skills in vendor recruitment and negotiations.
