Position OverviewGemean is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal, forensic, and investigative teams. In this role, you will assist with case preparation, document management, and coordination across legal and investigative matters. You will work closely with attorneys, analysts, and project managers to ensure efficient case handling, accurate documentation, and timely communication. This position plays an important role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting complex litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities

Assist legal teams with preparation and organization of case files, documentation, and supporting materials
Manage legal documents, correspondence, and records while maintaining accurate filing systems
Support document review processes and assist with organizing electronically stored information (ESI) for investigations and litigation
Coordinate with internal teams including e Discovery, forensic analysts, and project managers on case-related tasks
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain calendars for legal professionals
Assist in drafting routine legal correspondence, reports, and administrative documentation
Track case progress, deadlines, and important milestones to ensure timely execution
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with discretion Required Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a legal assistant, paralegal support professional, or in a similar legal administrative role
Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience supporting legal, compliance, forensic investigation, financial, or Web3-related matters involving case documentation and administrative coordination
Strong organizational and document management skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in common office and document management software tools
Ability to handle sensitive legal, financial, and investigative information with discretion Additional Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Experience supporting litigation, investigations, or compliance matters preferred
Familiarity with e Discovery processes and legal documentation workflows is advantageous
Knowledge of legal research methods and document review practices is beneficial
Exposure to forensic investigations or regulatory environments is a plus About Gemean
