Network Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.
* You will have extensive experience in managing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
* You will be responsible for creating and editing configuration scripts for new environments and troubleshooting existing ones.
* Cisco CCNA certification is a plus but not required.
In this role, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and data centers.
* Create and edit configuration scripts for new environments and troubleshoot existing ones.
* Manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth deployment of new applications and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in network administration, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
* Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.
* Familiarity with network management tools, such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or OpManager.
* Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as HP Networking equipment.
* Cisco CCNA certification is a plus but not required.
