This is a senior, independent contributor, not a junior or support role.What you'll do:Build and maintain data pipelines in SnowflakeDevelop ELT transformations (dbt / advanced SQL)Implement architectural patterns defined by Snowflake Architect (dynamic tables, external tables, etc.)Design scalable, analytics-ready data modelsOptimize performance and cost in SnowflakeEmbed data quality, testing, and documentationCollaborate directly with the architect and a broader D&A teamWhat you'll bring:6+ years of data engineering experience5+ years of deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake (performance tuning, modeling, pipelines), Advanced SQL, and dbt or similar ELT frameworksStrong experience with AWS services (S3, IAM, integrations with Snowflake), and Python, including Snowflake Python (Snowpark preferred)Proven ability to deliver complex pipelines independently, and translate high-level architecture into production solutionsHigh ownership, low egoStrong communicator in a remote setupAble to push back and think critically (not just execute tickets)Preferred:A solid understanding of Snowflake Dynamic Tables and modern features, Iceberg/lakehouse patterns, and Airflow or orchestration toolsExposure to Sigma / TableauWork Schedule: Overlap with Hawaii Standard Time preferredDuration: 6 to 12 months with possible extensionBenefits:A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.The opportunity to lead data-driven projects and deliver impactful analytics solutions for high-profile clients.Two weeks of paid vacation per year.10 paid days for local holidays.*Please note our partner is only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within their team.
