About the Job
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
* Advanced Process Control (APC) Certification from recognized institutions or organizations offering APC technologies and methodologies preferred.
* 3+ years experience with OSIsoft PI Historian for real-time data acquisition, storage, analysis, and visualization in industrial environment required.
* 5+ years experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, ESVT/EST, Honeywell TPS / TDC3000.
* Process controllers: C300, C200, HPM, APM.
* Third-party PLC/devices integration to DCS.
* Industrial Communication: Modbus RTU & TCP/IP, Serial Communication RS 485, RS 422, RS 232.
* Networking Skills: Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE), Ethernet.
* Configure and Administer Windows domain.
* OPC connectivity between Process control servers and other 3rd party servers.
* MS Excel-macro based tools.
* Experience configuring, implementing and trouble-shooting process control schemes in Honeywell TDC3000.
About Responsibilities
* Routine monitoring of APCs – troubleshooting issues, direct communication with Process Engineers and Panel operators to address any issues affecting their ability to keep the APCs online.
* Reporting about APC performance.
* Development of new APC solutions and maintenance of existing applications.
* APC training of Operators and other interested parties.
* Data Analysis in Excel or different applications.
* Support software and hardware upgrade activities involving APC equipment.
* Other duties as required.
