IT Infrastructure Team Lead
This role is responsible for coordinating a small team of infrastructure professionals to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of infrastructure engineers in planning, implementing, and maintaining core infrastructure operations.
* Develop and manage infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with technical goals.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate change windows, maintenance schedules, and upgrades.
* Identify and escalate risks, issues, and blockers, providing clear context and recommended actions.
* Maintain accurate documentation, dashboards, and status reports for leadership and technical teams.
* Coordinate vendor relationships for hardware logistics, remote hands, and service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with change management and security protocols.
* Organize team standups, working sessions, and stakeholder updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on leadership and project management.
* Proven ability to lead infrastructure initiatives in hybrid or co-managed environments.
* Expertise in servers, virtualization, storage, networking, DNS, and monitoring.
* Proficiency in tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet.
* Strong communication and documentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Able to manage priorities across time zones and work independently.
