We're launching a new partnership with a financial sciences company and expanding our team to support this collaboration.
The client combines data analysis, innovation, and rigorous inquiry to help solve challenges in investment management, insurance technology, securities, private equity, and venture capital.
The platform is a portfolio analytics tool used by asset owners, asset managers, and advisors.
The available tools enable investors to perform factor-based risk analysis to inform manager due diligence, investment evaluation, and portfolio construction.

* Apollo GraphQL as a popular open-source ecosystem for building and managing GraphQL APIs

Requirements:
1. 7+ years of experience preferred building and delivering customer-facing products
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
3. 7+ years of experience with Java development
4. 3+ years of experience with modern front-end technologies: React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
5. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, test automation, DevOps, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
6. Prior experience with systems design, building enterprise SaaS solutions, experience with user research, and product analytics are a major plus
7. Strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, readiness to challenge assumptions, and obsession with building quality software
Responsibilities:
1. Create, design, build, and deploy SaaS product end-to-end with an agile approach, from conceptualization through rigorous testing, and partnering with multi-functional teams to ensure outstanding in-product UX
2. Conduct front-end web development using React, TypeScript, CSS, and other technologies
3. Perform API design and development in Java, using cloud, microservices, and caching
4. Become a domain expert and trusted advisor in full-stack software engineering
5. Contribute to the continuous learning approach of the team by bringing in new insights, welcoming them from others, and generating even stronger outcomes as a result
6. Provide hands-on coding support and perform code reviews to ensure quality standards
7. Communicate clearly about progress, challenges, and technical decisions
