Contribute toward the efficient operation of the plant by performing various tasks across departments, utilizing maintenance, electrical, and building knowledge, while maintaining current ISO standards, safety requirements, and good housekeeping practices.
1. Assist supervisor with directed duties.
2. Assist supervisor with daily management of technicians.
3. Prioritize issues and manpower based on production needs.
4. Train junior technicians to improve troubleshooting and equipment knowledge.
5. Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
6. Close out PM work orders upon completion.
* Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance.
* Repair and maintain machines, production equipment, and facilities.
* Oversee contractors during professional repairs.
* Diagnose and correct mechanical issues.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical/electronic issues.
* Design and install electrical systems for equipment, including distribution and safety circuits.
What will help you thrive in this role?
* Knowledge and experience with industrial electrical systems – 480V systems, wire sizing, equipment specification (transformers, breakers, disconnects).
* Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machine/part drawings.
* Proficiency with maintenance/shop equipment – mill, lathe, drill press, welding, grinders, flame cutting, power tools.
* Computer skills for sourcing parts, emailing, and using CMMS systems.
* Ability to perform all duties satisfactorily and meet physical demands of the role.
