About this role:
We are seeking a skilled web developer to work part-time in Latin America. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and creates seamless user experiences with clean code.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop responsive websites and web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
* Create clean, scalable code that meets the highest standards of quality.
* Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes into functional web experiences.
* Integrate APIs and third-party services as needed for maximum efficiency.
* Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and device compatibility across all digital platforms.
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing websites and applications to meet evolving needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as a web developer or similar role with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
* Experience with back-end technologies including Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills in English (B2+) with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
* Currently living in Latin America with access to reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
