Position SummaryLeads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community and outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and fosters a workplace culture of belonging. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability. Identifies and communicates goals, measures progress, and addresses improvement opportunities. Promotes continuous learning and adaptability. Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.Builds high-performing teams by embracing diversity and creating a workplace where associates feel supported and connected. Builds strong relationships, communicates positively, and motivates teams. Attracts and retains top talent, empowers and develops team members, and recognizes contributions.Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, supporting Walmart’s culture, and supporting initiatives that create a positive impact for associates, customers, and the community. Demonstrates accountability and transparency in decision-making and actions.Delivers results by prioritizing customer needs, making data-driven decisions, and balancing short- and long-term goals. Encourages learning, takes calculated risks, and supports technological and skill development to foster continuous improvement.Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, paid time off, and additional perks like education assistance through Live Better U. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 plus differential, with potential additional compensation based on performance and location.Minimum Qualifications2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities selling only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.Preferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
