We're looking for a SMB Sales Operations leader who will be responsible for revenue planning, sales enablement and operational effectiveness in our tooling, sales processes and cross functional collaboration.
You will focus on driving sales enablement and efficiency initiatives focused on execution on go to market strategy, revenue growth and operational scale.
You are a highly organized and efficient professional must be flexible and able to wear multiple hats while working closely with our cross functional teams and prioritizing the needs of the team.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a Regional SMB Sales Ops team to deliver results on outlined initiatives
- Formulate sales planning, forecasting, and goal setting methodologies for a fast-evolving and complex segment of our business, including, but not limited to: creating scaled sales plans and revenue targets, customer segmentation methodologies, distributed sales coverage plans, and development of long-term implementation and tracking processes.
- Working with sales teams in maintaining sales pipeline for accuracy and data integrity when comes to sales planning and goal setting
- Define and implement operational procedures and policies to drive revenue growth, customer engagement and retention.
- Preparing and tracking sales incentive plans performance, effectiveness, ensuring payments are accurate and submitted in timely manner for payroll
- Establish a data tracking and monitoring system analyzing revenue and productivity data in depth, identifying risks and developing solutions - both for customers, partners, and for internal teams.
- Proactively analyze and assess growth opportunities; refine operating metrics to align on objectives and priorities, share insights to support decision making
- Design and optimize sales processes, promote cross-functional partnership and buy-in, ensure smooth cross-team communication and timely delivery on outlined initiatives
- Scope and drive critical projects and sales initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization
- 7+ years experience in a management consulting, operations, strategy or growth role within a fast-paced technology company, 5+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations or other relevant / quantitative disciplines from a leading university
- Experience executing SMB sales operations processes and strategies for a global or multinational sales organization strongly preferred
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational) and synthesize findings into narratives for leadership
- Advanced analytical skills; ability to gather data and structure it in a meaningful way for analysis and modeling, create reports and influence decision making.
- Knowledge of SQL, Tableau or other analytical tools is a plus.
- Technical proficiency in SalesForce or similar type of CRM solutions, Tableau/Power BI or similar data vizualization plarforms
- Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Suite skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong influencing skills
- Is a self-starter and has the ability to work independently, multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Results and detail oriented, with strong commercial / business acumen
- Not afraid to roll up sleeves to get work done
