The role of IT Business Analyst involves bridging business needs with technological solutions.
This critical position requires analyzing and interpreting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
The goal is to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with the company's objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Requirements Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications for the development team.
* Solution Design: Collaborate with developers and system architects to design solutions that meet business needs.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in technology projects.
* Documentation and Support: Create comprehensive user documentation and training materials.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a business analyst in an IT environment.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
* Languages: Advanced English and/or French.
* Tools and Abilities: Proficiency in business analytics tools such as Microsoft Visio and Lucidchart. Experience with project management software such as Jira and Trello.
Differentials (Nice to Have):
* Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
* Advanced Skills: Knowledge in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle and MySQL. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
