We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Strategic Research Analyst to support market intelligence, talent mapping, and strategic initiatives across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on deep research, independent thinking, and uncovering insights from complex or incomplete information. You will act as an internal research partner, supporting both business strategy and recruitment efforts by delivering accurate, well-structured, and actionable intelligence.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly organized, and able to work with minimal guidance while maintaining a strong focus on quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research on companies, markets, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making
Identify and analyze potential business opportunities, partnerships, or acquisition targets when relevant
Perform detailed company research, including ownership structures, leadership teams, and organizational insights
Support recruitment initiatives by identifying and mapping high-quality talent across target industries
Gather, validate, and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear and actionable insights
Build and maintain structured databases for market intelligence, company profiles, and talent pipelines
Track industry developments, leadership movements, and relevant market signals
Prepare concise, well-structured, and executive-ready reports
Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail in all outputs
Work independently to define research approaches and uncover insights with limited direction
Ideal Profile
3+ years of experience in research-focused roles such as market intelligence, business research, executive search research, or similar
Exceptional attention to detail and strong data validation discipline
Strong investigative mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity and incomplete information
Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, structured insights
High level of autonomy and ability to operate with minimal guidance
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple research streams
Experience researching privately held companies is a strong plus
Hands-on experience using research tools such as LinkedIn / Sales Navigator, Google advanced search techniques, company registries/public records, and industry databases (e.g., ZoomInfo, Crunchbase) is strongly preferred
Exposure to logistics, transportation, or related industries is a plus, but not required
