Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Google Cloud Engagement Manager to lead and manage the joint \"sell-with\" go-to-market engagement and all partnership activities with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This role is central to driving qualified pipeline, customer engagements, and cloud bookings that exceed targets.
The successful candidate will act as the primary conduit between our sales organization and GCP, requiring expert-level knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to operate within a complex, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all joint \"sell-with\" and go-to-market strategies and activities with Google Cloud.
Track, report, and forecast opportunities, pipeline, and bookings; provide comprehensive funnel management reports.
Facilitate co-selling engagements, account mapping, and joint sales activities between our field sales teams and GCP sales teams.
Support and enable the field sales organization in all GCP-related engagement management.
Contribute to and help develop content for Google Cloud sales training curriculum and enablement programs.
Coordinate with cross-functional virtual teams (Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Channels) as part of the overarching cloud strategy.
Develop and own the annual strategic plan and performance goals for the GCP partnership.
Provide support and coordination for joint channel activities and programs.
Develop a deep understanding of Google Cloud's strategic initiatives, roadmap, and vision.
Serve as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales issues related to GCP engagements.
Build and maintain strong executive and working relationships with key personnel at GCP.
Provide insights, support, and active participation in key Google Cloud events.
Act as a subject matter expert, presenting at QBRs, executive meetings, and internal training sessions.
Required Skills & Experience:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Channel Management.
Demonstrated history of managing quota-bearing sales or channel teams.
Strong preference for candidates with Public Cloud experience (specifically GCP).
Channel experience, including selling with or managing channel partners, is highly preferred.
Solid industry knowledge of security product market trends; familiarity with competitive security landscapes is a plus.
Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual, matrixed environment.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Proactive, \"whatever it takes\" attitude with a strong motivation to drive business wins.
Ability to travel internationally approximately 25% of the time.
