We partner directly with leading lenders and embed teams within client programs to deliver high-impact product and engineering initiatives.Role Overview We are hiring aProject Managerto lead delivery for a strategic client engagement with one of our key lending partners. This role will be embedded in the client program and act as the bridge between Hitch's engineering team and the client's business stakeholders.You will gather requirements, manage delivery timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and help shape product and workflow strategies that improve borrower conversion, underwriting efficiency, and operational performance.This role combinesproject management, client engagement, and product strategyin a fast-moving fintech environment.What You'll Do Client & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary day-to-day delivery lead for the Deephaven project Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business goals, underwriting workflows, and operational needs Translate client requirements into clear product and engineering deliverables Lead client meetings, status updates, and roadmap discussions Manage expectations, priorities, and delivery timelinesProject & Delivery ManagementOwn project planning, execution, and delivery milestones Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and QA Track progress, identify risks, and remove blockers Maintain project documentation, requirements, and timelines Ensure high-quality releases aligned with client goalsProduct Strategy & OptimizationHelp clients improve loan conversion and underwriting outcomes Recommend workflow improvements and product enhancements Analyze feedback, usage patterns, and performance metrics Collaborate with Hitch product leadership on roadmap decisions Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve borrower experienceRequirements & ExecutionGather and document detailed functional and technical requirements Define acceptance criteria and implementation scope Work closely with engineers during development cycles Support testing, validation, and production launchesWhat We're Looking For Required Experience3–7+ years in project management, product operations, or client delivery roles Experience working with engineering teams and technical products Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing complex software delivery projects Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Highly organized with strong execution and follow-throughNice to HaveMortgage, lending, fintech, or financial services experience Experience with loan origination systems (Encompass or similar) B2B SaaS or enterprise client delivery experience Agile / Scrum experience Experience with underwriting or financial workflow optimization Background in product management or consultingSuccess in This RoleYou will succeed if you: Deliver projects on time with strong client satisfaction Help improve client conversion and underwriting outcomes Provide clear structure and direction to engineering teams Identify product improvements that create measurable business impact Build strong relationships with client stakeholdersWhy Join HitchWork directly with major mortgage lenders shaping next-generation lending technology High ownership and direct impact on product and client success Fast-moving startup environment with strong growth opportunity Collaborative, technical, and product-driven culture
