Key Responsibilities Last Mile Operations Management: Oversee last mile logistics, ensuring timely and cost-efficient parcel distribution through partner carriers. Monitor daily operations, investigate anomalies, and implement corrective actions to maintain service excellence. Performance Management: Define and track KPIs such as on-time delivery, delivery success rate, and transit times. Develop dashboards and reports to provide data-driven insights to internal stakeholders and senior management. Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with last mile carriers, ensuring service levels meet company standards. Conduct regular meetings, align volume forecasts, and monitor SLAs to maintain high performance. Operational Standardization: Establish and document best practices for last mile logistics. Define roles, responsibilities, and performance management models to ensure consistency across operations. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in delivery operations. Benchmark industry best practices and develop initiatives to enhance efficiency, capacity, and cost-effectiveness. Incident Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Lead proactive issue resolution, ensuring smooth communication between teams and timely escalation of critical cases. Implement feedback loops to drive continuous operational improvements. Strategic Network Planning: Support the development of last mile network strategies, aligning logistics infrastructure with business growth plans and cost optimization goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience in last mile logistics operations, preferably in e-commerce and/or express logistics. Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of last mile logistics, carrier coordination, and performance management. Experience with Next-Day and Second-Day Delivery: Knowledge of express delivery models and their operational challenges. Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze KPIs, identify risks, and drive process improvements through data insights. Hands-on Approach: Willingness to visit field operations, engage with carriers, and ensure seamless execution. Problem-Solving Skills: Quick analytical thinking to address operational challenges and implement preventive measures. Project Management: Experience in leading and executing logistics projects, working cross-functionally to achieve business goals. Mandatory fluency in Portuguese and English. Spanish and Mandarin are a plus.
