For more information, please visit rimistreet.com.Position SummaryThe Sr. Support Engineer SAP, BI/BW Analytics provides remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of a global customer support team. Responsibilities include researching, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple SAP modules for clients using 4.x, ECC environments and SAP S/4HANA. The role requires diagnosing issues, developing, testing, packaging, and delivering fixes in complex, highly configured environments. It requires both functional and technical skills to document, develop, and deliver complex solutions.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSolve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP applications functionality and technology.Work closely with customers to understand their needs, support business change, and deliver high-quality customer experience.Provide remote-based functional support and training for SAP modules.Support client customizations, sharing implementation and best practices.Develop application fixes for critical product defects.Create scripts to identify, analyze, and correct data issues.Manage one or more key assigned accounts as a technical/functional advisor.Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote connectivity.Contribute to a 24x7x365 support organization; work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Collaborate with team members in a virtual environment to adapt to different client situations.Contribute to knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and processes to improve the client experience.Other duties as assigned based on opportunities and progression.Experience10+ years of SAP experience, particularly BI/BW Analytics7+ years of direct end-user support in a corporate environmentExperience in object-oriented programming, ABAP, and related fieldsTrack record of delivering bug-free code for clientsStrong understanding of business processes and SAP architectureAnalytical problem-solving skillsSAP certification(s) preferredKnowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architectureExperience solving complex problems across multiple SAP modulesSkillsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesCustomer-focused with strong relationship-building skillsKnowledge of SAP functionality, tables, and relationshipsExperience with SAP customization/extension methodologiesStrong development skills using SAP toolsetExcellent verbal and written communicationAttention to detail and quick learning abilityAbility to work independently and in a teamAbility to work remotely from a home-based officeExperience with BW models, ECC data extraction, BW queries, and BI modelingFamiliarity with SAP S/4HANA, HANA integration with Business ObjectsExperience with interfaces using ODBC, OData, etc.Experience with SAP BPC platforms and related front-end/back-end skillsExperience with BPC in functional or end-user roles and related configurationExperience with BPC ABAP and BW process integrationExperience with SAP implementation or upgrade projectsKnowledge of localizations and SAP architectureEducationBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.LanguageFluency in English and Portuguese is required.LocationBrazil, RemoteWhy Rimini Street?We seek talented, passionate professionals and offer compensation, bonuses, and benefits.
