The Role
You'll be responsible for software development, maintenance, scaling, and user experience.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying updates.
* Identifying and resolving issues across the stack to keep the platform stable and performant.
* Integrating and managing third-party APIs (e.g., Square, Stripe) to power core business functionality.
* Working with legacy code and refactoring existing codebases.
* Managing the full DevOps cycle, including version control, code reviews, merging PRs, and production releases.
* Upholding high standards for code quality through automated/manual testing, thorough documentation, and adherence to best practices.
What We're Looking For
* Expertise in Python, Django, ReactJS, Typescript, NextJS, AWS, Ruby.
* Experience refactoring code and working with legacy projects.
* Hands-on experience implementing Stripe or Square integrations.
* Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
* Comfort with Linux and command-line tools.
* Proven experience in similar roles, ideally at a U.S. startup.
* Track record of designing and building products from the ground up.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership.
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

* Proficiency in spoken Portuguese.
