**Responsibilities**:
Our wholesale broadband platform is a large-scale distributed system that delivers internet connectivity for our global customers across various verticals (residential (B2C), B2B, airborne, vehicles, maritime, etc.). As the Satellite Access Engineering Manager for the LATAM region, you must obsess over customers and work vigorously to earn and keep customer trust**.**
- Operate as the primary technical expert for the Brazil executive team.
- Work closely with customers, internal sales, marketing, and engineering to understand the customer journey.
- Design technical solutions, products, and capabilities to improve our customer experience and internet connectivity offers.
- Bring in or develop new technologies to further our product offerings.
- Oversee the LATAM-based and global DevOps team to assure the network platform operates at peak efficiency and provides an outstanding customer experience.
- This will be a hybrid role/3 days in office
- Incumbent may office in Sao Paulo or Brazilia
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years of relevant experience with communications systems and software
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills, ability to dig in and help troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
- Demonstrated multidisciplinary team leadership (network, communications engineering, software)
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP, UDP, Multicast, IPv4/IPv6, QoS, DSCP)
- Curiosity and desire to learn
- Strong business acumen
- Thrive and manage in an ambiguous evolving environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrates customer-centricity in all actions
- Strong attention to detail
- English and Portuguese fluency
**Preferences**
- Experience in digital satellite and/or other wireless telecommunications industries
- Experience with traffic management and policy enforcement systems
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Python, R)
- Fluency in Spanish
