About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to focus on recruiting new authors and content for our Journal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Life Sciences, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Autor Recruitment: Identify and engage with potential authors, guiding them through the manuscript submission process.
* Guest Editors Collaboration: Contact and collaborate with Guest Editors to build Methods Collections.
* Network Development: Establish and maintain a strong network of scientists/journal authors to drive content acquisition.
* Publishing Support: Collaborate with the peer review team to facilitate publication.
* Acquisition Targets: Meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets.
Requirements:
* A Ph.D. in Life Sciences.
* Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
* Results-driven with independent work skills.
* Strong organizational, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with the publishing process is beneficial.
