Job Description
The role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, organization, and management, ensuring the accurate recording and preparation of financial statements. It includes monitoring and controlling all economic transactions to guarantee proper administration of the company's resources, while ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation, Sika Group policies, and best practices in financial management. Additionally, the position applies advanced techniques, tools, and operational procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness across all financial processes.Specific TasksDefine the financial policy to be followed by the Company, in consultation and agreement with superiors.Budget cash flow and determine critical moments.Ensure and supervise the generation of reports to General Management and the corporate channel (Regional and Headquarters).Arrange for internal audits, periodic inventory counts, etc.Supervise the calculation process of standard costs for the Company's various products.Control compliance with tax and labor obligations.Advise General Management on matters within their professional scope.Train, promote, and motivate their staff.Identify needs and develop the training plan for their area, submitting it to the HR Department.Know, comply with, and help disseminate the policies of the Integrated Management System, regarding Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Responsible Environmental Care of the Company.
Qualifications
Educational and Attitudinal CompetenciesFormal education: Degree in Administration, Economics, or Public Accounting. Preferably with postgraduate training in Administration or equivalent.MBA, specialized in finance, or other postgraduate studies relevant to the role.Special courses: Proficiency in PC and operating systems. Financial updates. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP).Advanced EnglishExperience: Minimum of 5 years in similar positions in medium or large companies.Strong critical, reflective, and analytical capacity.High level of concentration, speed, and accuracy in mathematical calculations.Quick and confident decision-making.Good interpersonal skills. Firm and responsible character.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on a regular basis.
