The role of Senior Product Designer involves defining and leading design experiences across three core products, including web and mobile interfaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ideas from concept to completion, conducting research, managing usability testing sessions, and collaborating with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and scoped appropriately.

Qualifications
">
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design, be fluent in English, and have a strong portfolio with concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces. Strong proficiency with Figma is also required, as well as the ability to translate requirements and ideas into simple design solutions.

Work Expectations

This is a distributed team based in North and South America, and work hours are flexible. Regular meetings will be expected, and collaboration will occur during general daytime hours. The team relies heavily on Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion for collaboration.

Interview Process
">
* Apply with your LinkedIn profile and/or resume, including a portfolio link
* Asynchronous portfolio review: Create a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates your skills and experience related to the role
* Project: Spend 2 hours on a small project, given product context and asked to come up with low-fidelity designs for a user experience that addresses a problem
* Present your project during a 1-hour interview with leadership
* 1-2 additional follow-up 1:1s with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address unresolved questions
