Descrição da vaga PURPOSE OF ROLE Data platform is growing, there is a need for Business Analyst to lead different aspects of BrewDat’s offering. The BA will lead problem identification, roadmap creation, user discovery, technical definition and will own adoption among users. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - As a part of the product team, ensure that there is a robust data lake storage system, feature-rich ETL pipeline, strong metadata, data governance, and security enforced in the platform - Work with the Data Architect to prepare ETL design documents capturing all transformations - Prioritize the development plan of a scrum team according to business priorities by creating a roadmap - Gather requirements from multiple stakeholders and document the needs in the design document - Work with stakeholders to define the epics and user stories in a way that will enable the engineering team to develop the right product BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT This role manages the roadmap of a specific pod that sits within the larger Platform Squad. The main stakeholders this person interfaces with: - PMs in BrewDat - Zone data architecture leads - Global ABI Tech leads QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS - Level of educational attainment required: - B Tech, MCA, MSc, MTech, MBA - Previous work experience required - 2 to 7 years of overall experience in any technical capacity (engineering, architecture, data science etc.) - Experience building a platform - preferably a data platform - Experience in the data analytics domain along with ETL/Data Warehouse tools, proven experience in building data products to solve critical business problems considering users at the centre stage - SQL proficiency required o Prefer experience in one or more of the following areas: Big Data (familiarity with Hadoop, MAPR, BigQuery, Presto, etc.), Cloud Ecosystems (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), Metadata Management, Data Quality and Governance, Functional knowledge of SAP systems. - Language skills required - English (Fluent) COMPETENCIES Behavioural Competencies: - Builds trust - Honest and fair - Interpersonal skills - Positive attitude - Productive - Takes responsibility and makes effective decisions - Problem solving - Planned and organized Interpersonal Expertise: - Resolves conflicts constructively - Respect for others - Supports diversity and understand others’ perspectives - Communicates effectively
