Join us at Landis+Gyr, where we manage energy better Role PurposeThe Applications Developer is responsible for leading advanced technical work in the analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of complex applications that support the organization's business systems.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Design & Development:Lead the design of integrated systems, including logical models, process flows, and critical data elements.Define database requirements and create designs for complex systems.Ensure security policies are embedded in application architecture, including access roles and disaster recovery plans.Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft technologies: SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, .NET, and full-stack applications.Provide training and support for newly developed or customized systems.Plan and manage transitions from legacy systems to new platforms.Business Solutions & Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate closely with business application owners to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.Analyze business processes and assess functional and solution requirements.Deliver basic project management and third-level support for assigned applications.Technical CompetenciesStrong communication and contact skills (Advanced)Analytical thinking and problem-solving (Advanced)Project and change management (Basic to Advanced)Deep expertise in Microsoft SharePoint (Expert)Proficiency in Power Platform, .NET, JSON, SPFX (Expert)Experience with MS SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShellAbility to build strong relationships with business units and external partnersQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (technical certifications also considered)Strong experience as a backend/frontend developer in international environmentsStrong team player with proven collaboration skills across departments and vendorsFluent in English (written and spoken)We're committed to shaping a better future for everyone. #EnergizeYourCareer and join us on our journey towards a greener tomorrow.
